2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage – 2012 Geneva Motor Show – While the new generation is not enough, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage passed the scalpels. The changes are mostly concentrated in the visual. The British sports brand with their changes will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show, held in March, Switzerland.
The main aesthetic innovations were concentrated in front of the car, where the V8 Vantage has adopted a new bumper, a lower profile, with a wider air intake. The silhouette of the car was also changed. At the rear, a diffuser was integrated into the rear bumper.
In the engine, the engine is the same 4.7-liter 420-horsepower from the previous version. In the variant “hot” S, the block begins to deliver 430 horsepower and maximum torque of 49 mkgf. In both cases, the serial transmission is six-speed manual. As an option, there is a seven-speed automatic box, which replaces the old Exchange six.
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage 2013 will be sold at a starting price of 108,500 euros and will be available in coupe and convertible bodies (the latter, more expensive). The S version will cost 128,500 euros. Aston martin recently also launched the V12 Zagato, that will be produced in a strictly limited run of 150 units.
