2012 Kia Ray EV Electric Car - Kia Motors made the announcement of its new Kia Ray EV exclusively for distribution in the Korean market in mind produce 2,500 units in 2012 and used in government agencies and public offices in that country.

The Kia Ray EV is the first production electric car in Korea, uses a battery pack of high capacity lithium ion battery with 16 kWh, which are located under the rear seat, same as feeding a 50 kW electric motor that can generate 123 lb / ft of peak torque, reaching an efficiency of 93%.

Fully charged battery, lasts for 6 hours can travel 139 miles in fast charge mode.
