Renault Megane today introduced the 2012 Renault Megane RS, which brings only minor changes of finishing and aesthetics. Now there are LED daytime, more sporty bumper, new wheels and color options.
Inside, new materials received the finishing of fabrics and patterns. The line consists of the 2012 Megane hatchback versions, coupe and station wagon. The 2012 Renault Megane won aft camera sensor, changing lanes, air toxicity sensor-beam headlights and adaptive.
The 2012 Renault Megane RS engine includes the new engines Energy, represented by the 1.2 TCE 115 bhp and 19.3 lb.-ft., which replaces the old 1.6 16v 110 bhp. It emits 119 g / km of CO2 and generates an average consumption of 18.8 km / liter.
Another new engine available is the 1.5 dCi diesel engine with 110 horsepower and 26.4 Nm. This option generates an average consumption of 26.4 km / liter and emits 95 g / km of CO2.
Finally, the 2012 has the Mégane dCi with 130 hp 1.6, the most potent of the new engine options. It delivers an average consumption of 25 km / liter and emission of 104 g / km of CO2. All these options have the engine Start & Stop system. 2012 Renault Megane RS keep the block 2.0 Turbo with 265 hp and earn the same visual changes and finishing cited. In addition, a new exhaust system was introduced.
