The mechanics has always been one of the world, but the look has always left something to be desired. Subaru begins to change this history with the launch of the new generation Impreza in the Hall of New York. The brand presents a whole new look in both the sedan and hatchback version. The fourth-generation Subaru Impreza, and bolder look, will also debut the new range of engines, more interior space and more embedded technology.

In the UK, for example, the 2012 Subaru Impreza will be offered with a new 1.6-liter Boxer engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission or the second generation Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission). All versions are equipped as standard with Symmetrical AWD All-Wheel Drive, but with differences between the cars equipped with manual transmission and automatic.
The new 2012 Subaru Impreza will also feature as standard with the Subaru Dynamics Control (SVDC) – a system that combines the functions of stability control and traction – brakes with ABS, EBD and Brake Assist.
In relation to the visual, the new 2012 Subaru Impreza gets a new grille hexagonal in shape following the brand new standard. In the hatch version, the changes are even more rear notávies. The bumper design is robust with striking lines and wrinkles with strong baffles at the ends and a black finish at the bottom center. The lantern design won the straightest lines. At a glance, even with the racks on the roof, the Impreza hatch models somewhat resembles the minivan segment.
