2013 Peugeot 208 GTI – The French brand Peugeot has presented sports GTi variant of its 208 model, with unique elements and a THP petrol engine that develops 200 horsepower, the company said in a statement.
The version was shown at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, but the brand had not revealed all the details. At least now officially confirmed that the Peugeot 208 GTi will be produced and will reach the UK in early 2013.

The brand claims that the car is designed for “people demanding” and will be equipped with the 1.6 turbo engine with 200 horsepower. Also have wheel rim 17″, New headlights, GTi badges referring to the classic 205 Gti, red brake calipers, chromed double exhaust is only available in three-door version.
The 2013 Peugeot 208 GTI interior is decorated in black, sports seats with nappa leather upholstery in fabric and an aluminum threshold emblazoned with the Peugeot brand, red stitching and aluminum pedals.
The Peugeot equip the sports with the gasoline engine 1.6-liter turbo with 200 horsepower and 28.0 kgf / m torque enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in around seven seconds. The company said it may add an even more powerful version in the future.
Moreover, at the time of sale of 208 GTi, Peugeot will sell a limited edition of 50 copies in white pearl, diamond wheels aluminum / black, navigation system, hifi HDG, numbered plaque and the French flag at the bottom of the grid as in Version Concept.
Prices are tipped to start at about £21,000 when the 208 GTI reaches the UK in spring 2013. The standard 208 will be launched in September.
